What options are there?
The artificial air plant measures approximately 150cm long and 35-40cm wide. It’s incredibly simple to pot as it comes on a small plastic hoop which can be buried into your potting medium.
Will you be able to tell it’s not real?
The stylish air plant features lots of realistic long wiry roots. Naturally, these roots would have absorbed water and nutrients through dust and other matter and wouldn’t need planting in soil to survive. Our artificial version perfectly replicates this foliage and is manufactured from top quality materials for the most convincing look.
Where should you put it?
This faux plant would look the most realistic in a light, airy bathroom as this is a good place for a natural air plant to grow due to the humidity from the bath or shower.
The foliage on our air plant is not UV stable and therefore it is designed for indoor use only. For more information about UV resistance, check out our

When the air plant arrives, this is what you need to do:
- Unpack
Your air plant will arrive securely packed in a strong cardboard box. When your order arrives, open the box and remove the plant.
In the unlikely case that your artificial air plant arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible.
- Plant
The air plant will arrive on a small plastic hoop. To plant it in your arrangement, simply insert and bury the hoop into your potting medium.
What about ongoing maintenance?
In order to thrive, air plants need to live somewhere with high humidity and plenty of indirect light. Some people swear by only misting the plant, while others will soak it and some will do a mix of both. Alternatively by using our artificial air plant you can avoid all of the hassle with no ongoing maintenance whatsoever.
Did you know?
The air plant or tillandsia originates from Mexico and South America. It’s called an air plant because it uses its short, wiry roots to attach itself to branches, telephone lines and even cliff edges, rather than rooting in soil. Most species absorb moisture and nutrients through their leaves from rain, dew, dust, insect matter and decaying leaves.
