What options are there?

The foxtail grass is available in four sizes: 60cm, 90cm, 120cm and 150cm. These measurements are taken from the bottom of the pot to the top of the foliage once the plant has been fully arranged. This artificial grass plant will arrive in a small black starter pot which we recommend re-potting into a more attractive planter. Choose from our range of premium plastic pots here.

Will you be able to tell it’s not real?

The artificial foxtail grass features various colours, including green, brown and pink. The sword-like fronds are manufactured from premium polyethylene plastic and are topped with stylish foxtail clusters at the ends.

Where should you put it?

The foxtail grass is designed for indoor use and is not UV protected, therefore we would not recommend using it outdoors. Instead, it would suit a window ledge, shelf or kitchen table in your home.

When the foxtail grass arrives, this is what you need to do:

  1. Unpack
  2. Your new faux grass will arrive safely and securely in strong packaging. The pot and foliage may be wrapped in additional protection which should be removed and recycled. If your foxtail grass arrives damaged, please let us know as soon as you can.

  3. Arrange
  4. Your foxtail grass will require only a small amount of arranging. This will only take a couple of minutes to complete. For more information on how to do this watch our video guide here.

  5. Add finishing touches
  6. Finishing touches have the power to change the entire look of your artificial plant. Re-potting your foxtail grass will increase the stability of your faux plant, improve the overall appearance and help the plant to blend into your existing home décor.

Choose from our range of stylish planters or use one you have at home. To re-pot your foxtail grass, place the starter pot into your new planter, fill around the edges with soil or sand and top with decorative stones. For more information, watch our handy potting guide here.

What about ongoing maintenance?

Your foxtail grass won’t need watering, feeding or pruning. It will only require a quick dust from time to time. This will help your grass to look lively and prevent any build-up of dirt and debris. If you’re using your new foxtail grass on a window ledge in direct sunlight, we would recommend rotating it from time to time to even out any gradual fading that may occur.

Did you know?

The foxtail grass is named after its seed clusters because they often resemble the bushy tail of a fox. However pet owners should avoid these, as the clusters can easily get into a dog or cats skin where they can cause serious injury, infection and even death.
