Your artificial foxtail grass will arrive securely packaged in plastic wrap and in a plain black pot. On arrival simply remove the plastic and ruffle the grass fronds until you are happy with the appearance. We also recommend replanting the plain black pot into a more decorative planter (like the picture above). This will add the perfect finishing touch to the product as well as dramatically improving the stability. Find out how to pot your artificial foxtail grass here.

Foxtail grass, botanically referred to as alopecurus grass, is found across Europe, America and Africa. Foxtail refers specifically to a grass with a cluster of seeds at the tip which acts as a dispersal unit. Because of this, they are commonly used as oriental plants in homes and offices. However foxtails pose a risk to cats, dogs and other domestic products because the seeds can become embedded in the nostrils or ears causing infections.
