Everything you need to know

Topiary is renowned for being grand and elegant, but that comes at the price of being high maintenance.

Lush deep green foliage spirals upwards to create this beautiful towering cedar topiary. The faux-liage (see what we did there?) on our faux cedar spiral topiary tree is thick, full and UV stable to give you a realistic finish which never needs pruning, snipping, or even watering. No maintenance, no hassle!

If your gardening skills are a little below expert level, our artificial cedar spiral is the perfect choice if you still want that same classic style. 🌟

Available in four sizes from 90cm (3ft) to 175cm (about 6ft) , we're bound to have the right size tree for you. The best part is that unlike the real thing, our faux cedar spiral will never grow out of shape!

All measurements are taken from the ground to the top of the tree.

Standard delivery is £4 on orders up to £50, £6 on orders between £50.01 - £100 and free when you spend over £100 and takes 2 to 4 working days. Some locations may cost a little extra or take longer.

A no rush service is available which offers discounted shipping but takes up to 6 working days for delivery.

We'll keep you updated every step of the way, so you’ll always know when your gorgeous faux greenery is arriving.

Cedar spiral tree

"All together I have ordered 6 of these Cedar spiral trees and each one is of beautiful quality and appearance, everyone that comes to my garden comments on how good they look. The trees in the photo attached are 2 years old and still look as good as the day they were purchased. m, I would definitely recommend these if you are considering buying them."

Good low maintenance option

"Just what I was looking for. Good value. Look lovely from a few metres away. Several of the little “leaves” had fallen off and it’s not easy to see where to put them back. Overall a decent low maintenance option"

Emma M. (4/5)

Very realistic

"Very pleased with my 2 cedar spiral trees as they look very realistic, nice and full and not spindly. I bought the 120cm size and have put them into tall planters either side of our new extension doors. I choose artificial as I’m sure they will last far longer than real ones with no need to water, feed or keep in shape. Would definitely recommend them but will say they need weighted down with stones and sand or similar as they can be blown over in strongish winds."

Wonderful realistic outdoor trees for my garden

"Got a pair for my garden to replace real lollipop cedar trees that were looking unhealthy. These plants look beautiful. The green and the texture of the leaves so real. And now I don’t have to worry about watering them and them dying! So pleased with them. Well worth the money!"

MT (5/5)

These were bought to replace

"These were bought to replace bay laurels that were now past their best. The cedar spirals frame my garden room door and look really well in the new pots we bought to put them in. I have Blooming Artificial cedar spirals in my garden that are nearly 7 years old so I hope the new ones will look good for just as long"

Wendy S. (5/5)

look fantastic, but

"I have purchased quite a few of these trees in different shapes and sized and they do look real, but unfortunately the wooden stems they are on are not treated for outside and eventually rot an break, they were good enough to replace one as it was within the warranty period, but not the others as they fell outside warranty."

Ursula (3/5)

Metal pole rusting and snapping

"Absolutely stunning trees quality of plastic fantastic does not fade with sun etc BUT the downstairs side the metal pole is hollow and after a year or 2 rusts and snaps this is the 3rd tree ive had to replace extremely disappointing the pole should be a solid metal pole then it would have a much longer life"

Sarah (3/5)

Delivery excellent Ordering very good

"Delivery excellent Ordering very good Quality good not quite as large as I thought but wholly adequate Would have been expensive if it weren't discounted"

Jonathan E. (4/5)

Lovely realistic plants

"I have bought 8 of these plants over a few years. I have had to replace 5 due to the metal pole rusting and snapping off at the bottom. love the plants but not cheap to keep replacing. They pole should be plastic then they would last forever. My sisters have done exactly the same"

Judith (5/5)

High quality, the best looking

"High quality, the best looking artificial trees I have tried, look very realistic."

Potted plant on a white surface with a pink wall background

Our artificial trees are designed to be low faff for you, and they will be... trust us! Arranging the foliage sounds complex, but in this case, it's really just fixing up any foliage that was flattened in the box.

To do this, start at the bottom of your tree and gently work the foliage out. Remember that topiary is designed to be tight... so in other words, you don't need to do too much.

If in any doubt, give us a buzz and one of our team will be happy to help. 😊

Our whole range of outdoor artificial topiary trees is UV resistant which extends their lifespan outside. However, there's still a couple of things you can do to ensure your new tree has a happy and long life.

If your tree is potted, rotate it from time to time to ensure any weathering happens evenly. During extreme weather like high winds or prolonged rainfall, try to protect your topiary. This can be moving it indoors or to a sheltered area or protecting it if it can't be moved.

The other, which applies to natural wood topiary trees, is to apply a stain to the base of the tree on an annual basis.

For more information, check out our guide to caring for outdoor trees.

All of our faux topiary arrives in a plain black pot. This should be put into a slightly larger and more decorative pot when it arrives with you. This will increase stability and help the tree blend into its new home. We'll recommend some suitable pots as you browse our range of faux topiary trees.

Potting your tree is simple. You can read our full potting guide or follow these basic steps:

1. Select a pot, with drainage hole, which is slightly larger than the faux trees starter pot

2. Pop the tree into the pot and ensure it is straight

3. Fill around the pot with sand or soil and compact

4. Top off with decorative gravel
