Reviews & Questions

Here's Everything You Need To Know

What options are there?

The artificial cedar spiral is available in four sizes: 90cm (3ft), 120cm (4ft), 150cm (5ft) and 175cm (just under 6ft). The foliage is UV protected making it ideal for outside use and it comes pre-potted in a small black starter pot ready to be re-potted into a more attractive planter.

Will you be able to tell it’s not real?

The dense foliage on the cedar spiral includes lighter and darker shades of green to replicate new growth. See what our previous customers think of the cedar spiral by reading the product reviews above. We can’t edit or remove these reviews so you can trust that each one is genuine feedback.

Where should you put it?

Many of our customers use two of our cedar spirals to frame their front door. This is a great way to add long lasting elegance to your entrance and invite visitors into your home. You can also use the cedar spiral to add attractive greenery to your patio or decking.

When the cedar spiral arrives this is what you need to do:

  1. Unpack
  2. Your artificial cedar spiral topiary tree will arrive securely packed into a strong cardboard box. The pot and foliage may be wrapped in additional protection to keep it safe during transit and should be recycled where possible.

If your order arrives damaged, please let us know as soon as possible.

  3. Re-pot
  4. This faux topiary tree will arrive pre-potted in a small black starter pot. This is designed to hold the tree together and provide it with a sturdy base. The tree is cemented into this so we don’t suggest trying to remove it. We strongly recommend that you re-pot your cedar spiral into a larger, more decorative pot to increase its stability and help it to blend into your existing décor. To do this, simply put the tree and its starter pot into your new planter, fill around the edges with sand, stones or soil and top with decorative stones or wood chip.

Alternatively, for a more natural look you can bury the starter pot straight into the ground to make it look like it’s been growing for years!

For more information on how to re-pot your cedar spiral, watch our video guide here.

What about ongoing maintenance?

The cedar spiral is the perfect addition to a low maintenance garden in need of some long lasting colour and style. You don’t need to water, train or prune it as being artificial means it will look amazing all year round and never lose its shape.

Did you know?

The art of topiary can be traced back to 2000 years ago to ancient Rome. The word topiary is derived from the Latin word ‘topiarus’ meaning landscape gardener. Although nobody knows the first ever topiary instalment, pictures of topiary can be seen scribbled inside of ancient Roman tombs.
