The spiky leaves on our artificial yucca plant are made from polyethylene, a soft plastic, which creates a perfectly authentic look. Because of the delicate nature of the materials, we do not recommend that the artificial yucca plant is kept outside for long periods of time as it may discolour or damage the foliage. To accentuate the tropical look and feel of the plant, we recommend re-potting in a larger, more colourful planter and filling with decorative stones. We offer a range of plant pots here and should you need any guidance, we have a handy how to pot artificial trees guide here. Noticeable for its sword shaped leaves the yucca plant is native to Mexico, America and Canada. Widely used as ornamental plants, many species can flower and produce fruit but can struggle to survive if it’s over watered during the summer months. The yucca flower is the state flower of New Mexico.
