Reviews & Questions

Here's Everything You Need To Know

What options are there?

Our conifer tree is available in four sizes from 90cm (3ft) up to 180cm (6ft.) The width varies from 30cm up to 45cm and each plant has between 536 – 2600 leaves depending on the size you choose. The foliage is UV protected so you can use it outside without the risk of fading.

Will you be able to tell it’s not real?

Each of our conifer trees has a natural wooden stem which has been treated against typical British weather. The foliage is produced from durable plastic and varies in tone giving the appearance of new growth for added realism.

Where should you put it?

Artificial conifer trees are a great option for creating a screen between your garden and that of your neighbours. Alternatively, use them to hide those ugly fences! You can re-pot your conifer into some decorative planters and use them to frame your front door or use them in your garden or on your patio for some additional greenery.

When the conifer tree arrives, this is what you need to do:

  1. Unpack
  2. Your tree will arrive safely and securely packed in a strong box. When your order arrives, open the box and remove the tree. The pot and foliage may be wrapped in additional protection which should be removed and recycled.

  3. Arrange
  4. When you first unbox your conifer it may be standing with all of its foliage pointing upright. This is because it’s been packed tightly in its box to ensure it gets to you safely. To correct this you will need to spend a few minutes bending out the foliage firmly until you’re happy with its appearance. You can use our images above for guidance or watch our guide to arranging artificial plants here.

  5. Finishing touches
  6. Our artificial cedar pine comes in a plain black pot. We recommend re-potting your artificial conifer into a larger, more decorative planter to improve the overall look and increase its stability. If you’re looking for a pot to suit the conifer, take a look at our range of premium pots here. Made from injection moulded plastic, these pots are UV and frost protected and will look great all year round. Potting your artificial conifer tree couldn’t be simpler, but for guidance on how to do this, watch our potting guide here.

Alternatively if you would like to plant your conifer straight into the ground, we do not recommend attempting to remove it from its starter pot, as the tree is cemented in. Instead, you can bury the starter pot straight into your garden for a more natural look.

What about ongoing maintenance?

As always, our fake conifer trees will require no cultivation, pruning or watering making them ideal for a low maintenance garden.

Did you know?

Conifer trees, part of the pinus genus are a tough, attractive evergreen tree from North America. These hardy trees grow quickly and can reach a staggering height of 100ft in the wild, but with regular cultivation are usually kept far, far shorter. Natural conifer trees are also susceptible to insects and pests and can die as quickly as they grow. Fortunately, you will not have any of these issues with one of our artificial cedar pines.
