Designed for Indoor Use

Our range of cactus and succulents are designed for indoor use only. For more information on what this means and why they shouldn’t be used outside, read our Ultimate Guide to UV Resistance.

How to Clean your Artificial Plants

Your cactus and succulents will never need a drink but they might need a quick dust every now and then to keep them looking their best. This only takes a few minutes and can easily become a part of your normal cleaning routine. We’ve put together a quick video guide to help you with this process.

How to Pot Artificial Plants

Most of our faux cactus and succulents will arrive in a small black pot. We recommend that you re-pot your new plant into a more decorative planter to increase the stability and overall look. We’ve created a step by step video guide to show you how.

Using Artificial Cactus and Succulents

Cactus and succulents are stylish and often fairly low maintenance house plants. However, people tend to over water them or keep them in the wrong environment which leads to an early demise. Our artificial counterparts are the easiest way to get the look of cute cacti and succulent arrangements without the hassle of maintaining them. Place them on their own or in a group for a stylish display.

Our range of artificial cacti and succulents are particularly useful in busy offices where businesses don’t want to maintain real plants or for individuals who just like us, don’t have a penchant for cultivating plants.

We stock a wide range of faux cacti and succulents including our saguaro cactus which is what likely comes to mind when you imagine a traditional desert scene and our sansevieria which is an accurate representation of the more commonly known mother-in-laws tongue.

High Quality, Affordable Plants

Our range of attractive cacti and succulents are made using durable polyethylene plastic. We check the size, shape, colour and foliage against their natural counterparts to ensure they look as realistic as possible. Each material used has its own special purpose in ensuring your faux plant looks authentic. If you would like to know more about a specific material, please contact our friendly customer service team.

Why Choose Artificial Cactus and Succulents

Low Maintenance

Cacti and succulents are harder to take care of than you think! People often over water, under water or leave them in direct sunlight for too long can lead to an early death!

When most of us think of cacti, we imagine them thriving in scorching hot deserts so we naturally decide to provide them the conditions that mimic that setting. However, cacti are home to a variety of climates. Chances are that you may not be aware of the region your real cactus would originally live in which may result in the yellowing of the plant’s epidermis, in other words your cactus may become sunburnt and die!

It’s a similar situation with succulents. They can also become sunburnt but their biggest issue is watering and light. When succulents are grown indoors, they often struggle to get enough light and the right amount of water. They prefer to have their roots soaked and left to dry out for a few days. Watering them too often is the quickest way to kill them.

When you compare the cost of real plants vs artificial plants, faux is often higher at first. However, when you look at the cost over a longer period of time artificial plants actually end up being much more affordable. This is because you don’t need to pay for feeding or repotting your plants.
