Everything you need to know

One of the most recognisable cacti, the bunny ear (aka angel wings) is a small cactus that packs a mean punch. Its spines are small but can get embedded in skin with the slightest touch, making it a dangerous plant to have around the place particularly if you have small people or pets roaming around!

Our friendly faux bunny ear cactus is plastic moulded to look just like the real version. It’s wonderfully detailed including spines – that can’t be removed – and arrives pre-potted into a planter so is ready to go on arrival.

Better still, it packs all the usual faux goodness including no watering or light demands and next to no ongoing maintenance. What’s not to like?

Our artificial cacti and succulents come with all the realism of their natural alternatives but with no need for constant care and attention.

That means no watering or pruning, no risk of too little or too much sunlight and no hassle of replacing your plant where the real version would have perished.

All they ask for is a little clean from time to time either with a paintbrush to get between the spikes or a damp cloth.

Although most of our artificial cacti and succulents come pre-potted, you might want to use your own, more decorative pot instead.

To make the switch, simply put your new faux (plus its existing pot) into your new planter and fill in any gaps with some soil, sand or stones. Watch this quick video for more help.

Unlike other fauxs, there’s no faff with bending out leaves and straightening stems; all our artificial cacti and succulents are ready to go into your space upon arrival. There’s just a case of finding the right home for them!

The beauty of faux plants is that they’re happy to live anywhere inside your home, be it on a dark shelf, drafty windowsill or sat in a cold corner where they can bring warmth and colour to your space.

All we ask is that you keep them indoors as they’re not too keen on the sun’s harsh UV rays. For more info, read our guide on UV resistance.

Bunny ear spines aren't toxic but are incredibly irritating.
