Everything you need to know

Three bright eye-catching flowers, luscious green leaves, and not a humidifier in sight. This easy-going artificial bird of paradise isn’t fussed about how much light it gets, humidity or watering… it just wants a spot in your exotic escape space.

Vulnerable to crispy brown edges and sensitive to the cold, the real version needs specific conditions to grow well… not a problem our faux has to face up to!

With enormous glossy leaves of different shades of green and vibrant blooms, it’s no wonder our artificial bird of paradise is one of our best-sellers. ✨

Bring tropical style to your home and enjoy this funky faux houseplant either as a free-standing plant or on a tabletop!

The artificial bird of paradise is 106cm high and 60-70cm wide. Here's a handy graphic to help you understand how it could stack up in your home.

All our plants are packed tightly in the box to avoid damages en route. So, when the artificial bird of paradise lands you’ll need to tinker with the leaves until you are happy with the appearance. The stems are wired so can be pulled and prodded into shape easily.

For a realistic look, imagine a traditional clock face. The newer bird of paradise leaves are lighter in colour and sit in the 10, 11, 1 and 2 positions. The older leaves are a bit darker and sit in the 9 and 3 positions.

We’ll deliver in a basic black pot. You can use this, though we recommend replanting it into something more in line with your décor.

We suggest a stylish black planter to accentuate the bold flowers, or for a more daring choice one of the brightly coloured pots in our range. When you add the faux bird of paradise to your basket, we’ll make some handpicked suggestions. 😊

Actually potting your plant is pretty simple. Pick a planter, pop the plant into the pot and fill around the base with decorative stones.

What care? With no special dietary requirements or demands for sunlight, you can sit back and relax. All we suggest is giving the leaves a light dusting from time to time with a damp cloth.

To maximise the plants lifespan, we don’t recommend using it outdoors. It’s not UV protected, so may fade, discolour or not get on well with high winds.

If the bird of paradise isn’t right for your space or you simply want something even more exotic, maybe one of these artificial exotic plants will fit the bill. Shop our range of exotic faux plants here.

Its name is due to the bloom's shape that resembles the bird of paradise. 🐦
