Artificial Phalaenopsis Orchid

What options are there?

The artificial phalaenopsis orchid measures 70cm tall and 44cm wide once arranged. It features 3 supported phalaenopsis orchid stems and comes pre-potted in a small black pot measuring 11cm tall and 12cm Ø with exposed roots. Each stem measures approximately 60cm tall depending on how you arrange them. There’s also the option to choose from white or pink phalaenopsis orchid flowers to suit your décor.

Will you be able to tell it’s not real?

We really think you’ll struggle to tell this difference with this faux orchid arrangement. Not only does it include realistic petals with immense detail and natural looking orchid buds, but each stem is supported by real bamboo canes adding to its already authentic look. Each phalaenopsis orchid display has large waxy green overlapping leaves and features exposed roots just like its botanical counterpart.

Where should you use it?

This faux phalaenopsis orchid is designed for indoor use only. Choose our artificial white phalaenopsis orchid for a sleek and sophisticated look or go for the faux phalaenopsis orchid in pink for a fun a lively splash of colour.

When the phalaenopsis orchid arrives, this is what you need to do:

1. Unpack
Your orchid will be securely packed in strong packaging to ensure it arrives with you safely. When you receive your order, simply open up the box, remove your plant and recycle the packaging where possible.

In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged, please let us know straight away.


2. Arrange
Your artificial orchid display will need a few adjustments to help it looks its best. When you first unpack it, you may notice that all of the leaves and stems are standing upright. To correct this, bend out each of the green leaves and gently bend the orchid stems until they form a realistic arch as shown in our photos. You may want to use photos of real orchid flowers to help.

3. Re-pot
Your orchid will arrive in a basic black planter. The stems are secured to this planter with cement so we don’t recommend attempting to remove them. Instead we strongly recommend that you re-pot your faux orchid into a more decorative planter, slightly larger than its current pot.

To re-pot your artificial plant, simply place your orchid into your new planter, fill around the edges with sand or soil and top with stones, or a potting medium of your choice.

What about on-going maintenance?

Fortunately you won’t need to water, feed or tend to your orchid; however you will need to free the leaves from dust every so often, to ensure it looks its best. We recommend using a damp cloth to do this.
