Artificial birth flower alternatives

We have a range of indoor and outdoor artificial flowers available to buy, including our outdoor hanging baskets, window boxes and patio tubs. If you experience any issues within the warranty period shown on product pages, we’ll happily take a look into the issue offering either a refund or replacement for any damage caused by the elements.

Our indoor flowering products, such as our bouquets, are not designed for outdoor use, and will not be eligible for a refund if used outside.

The lifespan of artificial outdoor flowers all depends on the location and the weather they’re exposed to. They’ll usually last for many seasons but there are a few ways to extend their lifespan.

To maximise the lifespan, choose softer pastel colours, limit their exposure to the sun and bring any potted arrangements inside during extreme weather events like storms and heatwaves.

Should your faux outdoor flowers experience any fading within the product warranty shown on the product page, let us know as you may be entitled to a credit or replacement.

There also lots of materials used to make fake flowers. These include polyethylene plastic (PE), polyethylene vinyl acetate (PEVA), velvet, latex, metal, polyester silk and more.

The materials used will vary depending on the type of flower being made. For example, PEVA tends to be used to create waxy flowers, like anthuriums, tulips and lilies, whereas polyester silk is better suited to light, delicate petals.

Using faux flowers is an easy way to bring long-lasting colour into your home and garden. It makes keeping fresh looking flower arrangements around your home a breeze - as there’s no watering, feeding, and frankly no wilting or death.

When outside, Mother Nature takes care of the dust and dirt that can build up indoors. However, should you need to give them a quick clean, we recommend using either a dry cloth to wipe away any dirt, or alternatively you can pick up artificial flower cleaning sprays easily online which should leave your flowers squeaky clean.
