Artificial window boxes

Because artificial flower and foliage window boxes don’t need any watering or ongoing maintenance, they make a great choice for hard to reach areas like second-floor window ledges or office spaces where no one has the time to care for them.

All of our faux window boxes include incredibly realistic, vibrant flowers and detailed foliage that have been lovingly assembled by our designers. Each arrangement has a distinctive style and usually centres around a specific flower species or colour group.

Being artificial has one final benefit. No pollen! If you, your family or your friends suffer from hay fever, then artificial window boxes offer vibrant flower arrangements without the side effects.

Our faux window boxes all feature the same trough. The only thing that changes is the stunning selection of flowers and foliage.

We use a black 60cm long black window trough. It’s made from high-grade plastic making it durable, lightweight, and UV stable. We add ballast to give the window box some weight and a low centre of gravity which stops it from toppling over in the wind.

After this, we add a layer of made to measure dry artificial flower oasis into the trough.

Flowers and foliage are then added and glued securely into the trough. Finally, we sprinkle a layer of faux moss for an extra boost of authenticity.

Yes! They have a dry oasis core that doesn't hold water. The window box trough has holes in the bottom which may need to be popped out with a screwdriver to let water drain away.

The foliage and flower spikes are glued into the oasis, but they can be removed with a little bit of force. We don't recommend this as the flowers might get damaged, and it's irreversible. You also won't be able to return them to us.

Our outdoor arrangements are delivered in secure, made to measure packing. It means when they land on your doorstep, all you need to do is remove the packaging and pop it in position. No additional aggro.

Our arrangements don't arrive with brackets or fixings.

Outdoors is the toughest stage for any faux plant to perform on, especially since delicate foliage faces sun, rain, humidity, and everything Mother Nature throws their way. That said, our arrangements are designed with high-quality materials and craftsmanship that stand up better than most. How long they stay flawless depends on factors like sunlight exposure, humidity levels, and where you hang or place them. Less sun and sheltered spots will always help stretch that lifespan toward the three-year mark.

For extra care, we recommend using a UV protection spray, a stylish little secret weapon to ward off fading and make your faux flowers hold onto their petal-perfect glow. We don't stock any at the moment, but you can usually find them available elsewhere online.

It's not a necessity, but drilling a few holes in the base of your window box trough will help any water to drain. If you look at the bottom of your window box, you'll find 10 drainage hole notches which need drilling into.

You can find brackets for window boxes online which will grant you the ability to fix your window box to your wall or balcony. Just make sure to check that the bracket is compatible with the size of your window box. Unfortunately we don't have any available on our website at the moment.
