Everything you need to know

When you first gaze upon our faux kentia palm, the first thing you'll notice is the gorgeous broad palm fronds that arch gently from the centre. With deep and light green colours, the palm leaves accurately mimic old and newer growth too.

Our artificial kentia palm is designed for indoor use and arrives fully grown. So unlike a real kentia palm, there's no waiting years for the plant to reach full size.

And while the real kentia palm is rather fussy, our artificial kentia palm doesn't need water or sunlight to survive!

Available in 150cm and 200cm heights, there's a kentia palm to fit every space. All measurements are take from the floor to the top of the plant one it has been fully arranged.

Due to the nature of palms, the width is an estimate and will vary based on how far fronds are cured outwards.

This plant take 10-15 minutes to assemble. The leaves, stems and the base will come as separate pieces to save on pesky postage costs and minimize any risk of damage during transit.

When your plant arrives, simply slot the stems together, they will be labeled with coordinating letters to help you identify which stem fits into which slot. Then slot in the leaves, these will have corresponding numbers so you'll know where they fit. Bend the branches and stems out to arrange them how you'd like.

If the leaves have any excess folds in they should drop out after a few days, but smoothing the leaves by hand will help. Slot your plant into your space and you're all done. Easy peasy!

Standard delivery is £4 on orders up to £50, £6 on orders between £50.01 - £100 and free when you spend over £100 and takes 2 to 4 working days. Some locations may cost a little extra or take longer.

A no rush service is available which offers discounted shipping but takes up to 6 working days for delivery.

Way better than expected!

"Having had real kentias that sadly, no matter what i did to look after, always seem to die and having previously bought artificial ones, I wasn't expecting much at all to be honest. I'm a perfectionist and alot of 'faux' Palms that appear ok online, turn out to be pretty rubbish in reality, the thing to check for is the 'connections' between the individual leafs and the fronds that are cheap and nasty on many artificial Palms, ( after all, real Palms have none! ) This palm is very believable even up close, I didn't necessarily follow the guide to what branch must go where, I just played with it until it looked right for my space, and it does have the real kentia appearance. Overall very pleasantly satisfied. Looks good and is a good height. Will definitely be keeping my kentia 🌴"

Our faux palms are packaged in a very upright manner. It keeps the palm fronds safe during delivery from our place to yours.

To bring your palm to life, you'll need to arrange these fronds. Sounds complex? Don't worry... it isn't.

Starting at the bottom of the foliage, simply bend each frond out. Aim for a gentle curve rather than a harsh angle for the most realistic final appearance. The fronds are wired so may appear a bit stiff. You can be pretty firm to get the desired bend!

Our artificial palms arrive pre-potted in a small black pot. This is designed to act as a base for replanting into something a little more decorative. This will help it blend into your home's interior and improve stability too!

Faux palm trees are incredibly realistic and designed to be botanically accurate. But there are a few things you can do to get the most out of your palm.

Arranging your tree is an important first step. When it arrives with you, it'll be upright and compressed in the packaging to prevent damage. Spend a few moments arranging and gently manipulating the foliage until you're happy with its appearance.

Then, pop it into a stylish planter that blends in nicely with your decor. Choose one that's slightly larger than the pot it arrives.

Unlike a real palm which demands light, humidity, watering, feeding and repotting, your new artificial friend asks for very little.

Once it’s sitting pretty in your home all you’ll need to do is give it an occasional wipe with a damp cloth. Start at the top and work your way around and down the palm to remove any dust.

Look at the details on the product page and check the pot dimensions. We typically suggest adding 2-10cm onto the width and going from there.

Selecting a pot towards the higher end of this range will really improve the plants stability. A top tip if you have small people or pets running around.
