Reviews & Questions

Here's Everything You Need To Know

What options are there?

The artificial boxwood spiral is available in four sizes: 90cm, 120cm, 150cm and 175cm tall measured from the ground up. The width ranges from 30cm to 40cm depending on the size you choose. Each tree comes pre-potted in a small black starter pot, ready to be re-potted into a larger more attractive planter.

Will you be able to tell it’s not real?

The boxwood spiral features realistic two-tone foliage to replicate new growth for a more natural look. See what our previous customers think of the boxwood spiral by reading our reviews above. We can’t edit or remove these reviews, so you can trust that the feedback is honest.

Where should you put it?

The boxwood spiral has UV protected foliage and is therefore suitable for outside use. Re-pot it into a large decorative pot and use it to frame the entrance to your home or decorate your garden, patio and decking. For more ideas, scroll up to see how our previous customers have used the boxwood spiral.

When the boxwood spiral arrives, this is what you need to do:

  1. Unpack
  2. Your boxwood spiral will arrive securely packed in a strong cardboard box. The pot and foliage may be wrapped in extra protection which should be recycled where possible.

If your boxwood spiral arrives damaged, please let us know as soon as possible.

  3. Re-pot
  4. Your artificial boxwood spiral will arrive pre-potted into a small black starter pot which holds the tree together and gives it a sturdy base. We recommend that you re-pot this into something larger to help it blend into your décor and provide it with more stability. You can use your own pot or choose from our range of premium plastic planters.

To re-pot your boxwood spiral, simply put the tree and its starter pot into your new larger planter, fill any gaps with sand, soil or stones and top with decorative stones of wood chip.

Alternatively you can sit the tree straight into your garden by burying the black pot into some soft soil to give the illusion that it’s been growing there for years.

For more information on how to re-pot or plant your artificial topiary tree, watch our how to video guide.

What about ongoing maintenance?

Although the evergreen plant is known for its slow growth, natural boxwood still needs to be trimmed to keep its shape. There’s no watering or training involved with our artificial boxwood spiral and it will stay neatly trimmed all year round giving you time for the more exciting things in life!

Did you know?

Boxwood is a perennial plant that can survive from 5 to 600 years depending on the species! Powder made of dried boxwood leaves can be used to promote hair growth and is also given to horses to improve the quality of their coats.
