Everything you need to know

We all enjoy a beautiful bunch of fresh flowers, but along with them comes pollen stains, dropped leaves, allergies and not to mention the need to replace them every week or so.

Fortunately with our everlasting artificial amethyst bouquet, you’ll never have to worry about any of that.

Inspired by the crystal of the same name, known for its tranquil properties, our faux amethyst bouquet includes calming lilacs and peaceful pink and white roses, alongside rosemary for remembrance, cow parsley, stock sprays, gypsophila and lisianthus, bringing all the beauty of nature into your space.

All the blooms are incredibly realistic and botanically accurate, so you can enjoy a beautifully lifelike display and transform your blank space into a relaxing retreat.

The faux amethyst flower bouquet ususally includes:

  • 3 x purple lily stems

  • 3 x gypsophilia sprays

  • 5 x larkspur sprays

  • 4 x rosemary foliage sprays

  • 3 x white / pink rose stems

  • 2 x purple lisianthus

  • 3 x purple cow parsely foliage

We may amend the contents of the bouquet to maintain availability. Any tweaks will be subtle and won't substantially alter the appearance of the arrangement.

The amethyst bouquet stands at 65cm high by between 35cm - 40cm wide and generally suits a vase around 40cm high. If your vase is smaller, you can cut the stems to reduce the overall height.

Our bouquets and vases are sold separately, your bouquet will not arrive with one. If you would like to purchase a vase along with your bouquet, you can choose one after adding the bouquet to your basket. Alternatively, browse our range of vases here.

Each stem in your bouquet has an internal wire which is coated in plastic. Depending on the stem, this wire can be fairly lightweight or pretty thick. Thicker wires can be slighter harder to cut.

1. Measure the height of your vase.

2. Take the vase measurement and measure from the bottom of the flowers and foliage area towards the bottom of the stem.

3. Mark the measurement and cut any remaining stem off.

4. If in doubt, leave the stems a little longer. You can always trim them again.

To cut the stems, we recommend using strong wire cutters. If you don't have any of these to hand use pliers or scissors to score the plastic. Then bend them one way, then the other, which will weaken the wire to the point it breaks cleanly.

Faux flower arrangements are both beautiful and need zero maintenance. However there are still a couple of things you can do to keep them looking fresh for years to come.

1. Don't use them outside

These flowers may be pretty but they're not designed for outside use. We'd also recommend not siting them on windowsils for long periods of time.

2. Keep them clean

Dust is the enemy of artificial flowers and is a telltale sign of faking it. Fortunately fauxs are easy to clean with a damp cloth or wetwipe. For the more intricate stems, take the arrangement outside and used compressed air to blow dust away. You can find our full guide on cleaning flowers here or watch our video below.

If the amethyst bouquet isn't the one, fear not! We have a whole range of stunning flower arrangements, so you're bound to find the one for you. View our range of artificial bouquets here.
