These natural stones are suitable for indoor and outdoor use, they are just as at home topping a plant in your living room as they are finishing off a pot on the patio. 

One tub of stones covers one 25cm wide pot and the stones are between 1-3cm diameter. Please note these are natural stones, so each piece varies slightly in shape and shade, so no two jars look quite the same.

Everything you need to know

Instantly smarten up any planter indoors or out. These understated stones suits modern and neutral interiors. Working well against both, light or dark pots. Plus they're easy to top up or refresh whenever you fancy a low maintenance style change.

One tub of stones covers 1 x 25cm wide pot as a topper only. If you want a deeper fill or have a larger pot you'll need multiple tubs of stones.

1. Start by placing your plant (in it's starter pot) into your decorative pot.

2. Fill the void around the starter pot with a padding of your choice:

  • For indoor plants you can use folded cardboard, polystyrene, oasis, etc. Then top with a cardboard circle so your topping doesn't slide into any gaps, meaning you won't need so much. Your card circle will need to be made up of two overlapping semicircles, with a hole for the plant stem.
  • Or for outside you can use stones or soil, etc. Pat them down into an even layer so topper doesn't slide into any gaps.

3. Add your topper and even out.

You can use the topper to fill your whole pot if you choose, however you will need slightly more.

Standard delivery is £5 on orders up to £100 and free when you spend over £100 and takes 2 to 4 working days. Some locations may cost a little extra or take longer.

We have different materials and colours to choose from whether you're trying to match the style of your home or complete a gift (plant, pot, stand and topper).

Moss: our 5L moss bag will top 5 x 30cm plant pots as a topper only.

Bark: a 2.5L fine bark will top 2 x 30cm plant pots as a topper, whereas the 5L coarse bark will cover 3 x 30cm plant pots as a topper.
