Everything you need to know

We love seeing homes, gardens and offices all over the UK being brightened by our faux fern foliage living wall.

Whether you're hiding an unsightly area, brightening up a boring space or creating screening that's fun and friendly, our faux fern foliage living wall is tough, UV protected and looks completely natural. And best of all there's no watering involved!

Non-invasive and totally carefree, this beautiful screen is easy to mount to any surface of any size, you can move it around and it'll look its best year after year. So what are you waiting for? Just clip them together and enjoy a calm screen with zero hassle.

Our artificial fern living wall comes in 50 x 50 cm mats which can be simply clipped together with a/b connectors. Four mats cover one square metre. Simply measure, get them delivered straight to your door and get creative! We've even developed a handy calculator to help you estimate how many mats you will need but should you need help or advice, our friendly fake-green-fingered team is on-hand.

Our green wall panels come with a mesh back and need fixing to a frame. We recommend making a simple wood frame or purchasing some trellis. Attach this frame to your wall using fixings that are recommended for your wall type.

Join the mats together
All of our green wall panels have A/B connectors which slot into each other to create a seamless roll of foliage. If you're covering a large area, join manageable strips together. You can join the rest once the mats are attached to the wooden frame.

Attach the green wall panels to the frame
The faux living wall foliage can be attached to the frame using hooks, cable ties or our preferred method; a staple gun. This final step is easier with two people. One person who can hold the living wall in place, and then another person can secure it to the frame.

Standard delivery is £4 on orders up to £50, £6 on orders between £50.01 - £100 and free when you spend over £100 and takes 2 to 4 working days. Some locations may cost a little extra or take longer.

Great real looking product

"First time ordering, great service and good quality product"

Fern Living Wall

"The fern living wall is adding much needed colour to our garden. We recently moved into a new build house and as with all new builds the gardens can leave a lot to be desired. These living walls are helping add a splash of nature to the garden (and they will always remain green) as well as providing needed screening from the neighbours dogs. Overall a welcome addition."

I'd buy it again in a heartbeat

"Fantastic, it looks very life like. The fence it is covering was slanted so this created a trick of the eye and appears level now. Simple to assemble, secured with extra cable ties and stapled. The wall is our focal point and will have a light floating over the foliage. Our garden space was designed for my disability and assistance dog. I needed a maintenance free space but loved plants, finding dog friendly plants that I liked the look of proved difficult, so this solved my problem. Excuse the photos of the tarp, we had a pergola delivered so it was staying dry while we continue to assemble the garden. Quick delivery and worth every penny. I'm the first to install something like this out of the people we know but friends and family now want the same for their gardens, especially where its shaded areas."

"Used this to disguise a large area of concrete after having an area of the garden block paved. Perfect for the job, looks fab."

I was pretty hesitant ordering

"I was pretty hesitant ordering the living wall panels as I was worried how authentic they would look once they were up, Overall though we are really pleased with the effect. Yes, close up and, in all honesty, when the sun is shining brightly on them, you can tell they are artificial, but a metre or so away you’d be hard pushed to know they weren’t real. They have given us some privacy in an area where planting is not possible. I installed them myself using U shaped tacks in around 3 hours. It was a little bit of a fiddly task but certainly not what I would describe as a hard one. I also followed up with the customer service team post installation with a couple of queries and they were incredibly responsive and helpful. Great service and product so very happy to recommend."

Artificial living wall panels are easier than you think to install. Check out our in depth step-by-step guide to installing an artificial living wall.

  • Work out how many mats you need
Most of our living wall panels are either 25cm2, 50cm2, or 1m2. So, you'll need either 16, 4, or 1 per square meter. The mats can be cut to shape and size to fit your space perfectly with some strong scissors if you need to.
  • Create a frame
For ease and to prevent damage to your wall, we recommend making a simple wood frame or purchasing some trellis. Attach this frame to your wall using fixings that are recommended for your wall type.
  • Join the mats together
All of our green wall panels have A/B connectors which slot into each other to create a seamless roll of foliage. If you're covering a large area, join manageable strips together. You can join the rest once the mats are attached to the wooden frame.
  • Attach the green wall panels to the frame
The faux living wall foliage can be attached to the frame using hooks, cable ties or our preferred method; a staple gun. This final step is easier with two people. One person who can hold the living wall in place, and then another person can secure it to the frame.

Indoors, an artificial green wall can last for 10 years, or as long as you want them in place. If you're using them outside, the sun, wind, rain and other weather will reduce their lifespan.

Most of our artificial living wall products will last for at least 5 years outside in the UK.

Adding a living wall indoors is a great way to bring the outdoors in and over the years we've seen it all from secret doors to botanical bedrooms and trendy biophilic office spaces. What's more, an indoor living wall will last longer than outdoors as it won't have to endure the elements.

Installing an indoor living wall works just the same as an outdoor one, just make sure to use fixings suitable for your wall type!

Green walls are a fab way to help minimise noise as the foliage will help to absorb sound and reduce the reverberation time, especially in rooms that have concrete or stone floors.

if this isn't the green wall for you, you can find our extensive range of artificial green wall.
