The artificial areca palm is available in four sizes, from 120cm (4ft) all the way up to 190cm tall (6.3ft). All measurements are from the ground to the top of the palm once it has been arranged.

The best way to really rock-your-fronds (said no one ever!) is to gently arch the foliage out from the central stem. These palms are pretty tough, so you'll need to be quite firm.

Because our artificial areca palm is UV resistant, it can be placed anywhere indoors or outdoors. When it comes to potting or styling, simply treat it as you would a real plant.

Although it arrives in a pot, we recommend repotting it for added stability and so that you can achieve exactly the look you want. You may have a pot of your own in mind, or we have a range of pots to suit all tastes.

For a finishing touch, top off the pot with a little soil, sand and/or decorative stones. When it comes to creating your own little tropical paradise outside, you can use a pot or simply plant our fake areca palm directly into the ground. Then all you need to do is sit back and enjoy your new-found haven of exotic greenery.

If your palm is going to be making a big impact indoors, we'd recommend giving the leaves the occasional dust so that you can enjoy your plant in all its exotic splendour.

This plant takes less than 10 minutes arrange. There are no parts to put together, you'll just need to bend each branch out in tern to fill the space you have. You can spread out the plant as much or little as you'd like.

If the leaves have any excess folds in they should drop out after a few days, but smoothing the leaves by hand will help. Add to a pot of your choice, slot into your space and you're all done. Easy peasy!
