Potted plant on a white surface with a pink wall background

Fiberclay is a blend of natural clay and fiberglass. They look incredibly similar to traditional earthenware or clay pots, but thanks to the addition of fiberglass, are strong and weather resistant.

Fiberclay is sometimes referred to as clayfibre.

Yes, fiberclay pots are strong and weather resistant so can be used outside.

For best results, drill a couple of holes in the base of the planter to allow rainwater to drain out. This will also ensure water doesn’t freeze inside the pot which could result in cracking.

Due to the natural nature of the materials, the pot may change colour over time.

Caring for fiberclay pots is simple and stress-free (like our fab artificial plants). To clean, use a cloth or sponge with soap and water to remove dirt and debris. Do not use abrasive or particularly rough tools, or any harsh chemical detergents.

If you're planning to use your pot outside, you'll need to drill some holes in the bottom to allow for drainage.

Use an 8-10 mm drill bit and put some duct tape over the spot you're planning to drill to prevent the drill from slipping.

Our fiber-based plant pots and planters come from Dutch leaders, Pottery Pots. Every pot is based of the principles or great design, high quality materials, and reasonable prices.
