More about artificial single stems

Our range of single stem artificial flowers is an excellent way to add low maintenance, long-lasting colour to your home.

They allow you to create your own floral arrangements that don’t need replacing, watering or feeding and keep their colour year after year. Unlike real flowers that only last a few weeks, our faux single stem flowers are everlasting.

It isn’t always possible to keep natural flowers, especially if you lead a busy lifestyle, travel or if like us, you simply just don’t have a talent for gardening.

Artificial flower sprays are the solution. You’ll never have to worry about them wilting away and they instantly brighten up your home straight out of the box.

Artificial flowers were once made using poor quality silk and shiny, rigid plastic (yuck 🤢!). Over the last 10 years, manufacturing techniques have improved allowing us to create extremely life-like flowers from top-notch materials.

Our range of faux flower stems is manufactured using premium quality materials like latex and polyurethane plastic – a renowned material in the artificial plant world used for creating incredibly authentic flowers. Our real-touch flowers include the rose stemoriental lilytulip stem and more. Each one has soft flowers that feel anything but artificial and intricate designs with vivid, natural colours.

The rest of our range is made using exceptional quality materials that perfectly replicate their natural counterparts. Each flower’s exact mix will change slightly to create different textures but the quality always stays the same.

Wide range

The most popular artificial flowers have been made into faux’s so you can be sure to find your favourites in our range. From beautiful roses in a variety of natural shades to large liliessunflowers and peonies, our range of single stem flowers are just what you need for a big long-lasting splash of colour in your home.

Price

Although the initial cost of faux flowers may be a little higher than your average natural bouquet, the overall cost is much less in the long run. Real cut flowers might last for a few weeks at most but they always end up in the bin and need replacing. The cost of replacing your arrangement adds up and in the end, you’ll save hours of time and money with our range of faux stems.

Allergies

Did you know that hay fever affects around 13 million people in the UK? That’s a lot of us that sniffle and sneeze whenever real flowers are in sight, making it tricky to enjoy their beauty.

Using artificial flowers is an ideal solution, providing you with year-round colour and style without the fuss of allergies.

If you're looking for something readymade, we have a beautiful selection of artificial flower arrangements ranging from showstopping faux bouquets and small floral bunches akin to supermarket flowers. Explore our full range of beautiful floral arrangements here.

The easiest way to trim the stems of your faux flowers is with strong wire cutters. If you don't have strong cutters to hand, the next best option is to cut the plastic casing down to the metal and then bend it back and forth until it snaps, much like you would with a paperclip!

Read our step by step guide on how to trim faux flowers stems.

Care? Going faux is the easy way. There's no need to water, feed, prune or replace them every fortnight. They'll never wilt or turn brown, instead you'll have lasting classy colour in your home.

The only thing you will need to do is occasionally clean them using a wet wipe or damp cloth to remove any build-up of dirt or debris. For in-depth help on, see our full guide on how to clean faux flowers.

Our range of artificial single stem flowers are all designed for indoor use. Please don't be tempted to use them outside because they could get damaged.

The only care your faux flower stems need is a little dust from time to time to keep them looking fresh. Aside from that, there's no maintenance at all. 😀 For help with this, see our guide to cleaning faux flowers.

Aside from cleaning, just trim your faux flower stems using a pair of strong wire cutters so that they fit your vase and enjoy!

Scissors usually aren't strong enough to cut through the internal wire in our faux flower stems, especially those of our flowers that have particularly thick wires.

Instead we recommend using a strong pair of pliers or wire cutters to trim your stems. See our guide on how to cut faux flower stems.
