Here's Everything You Need To Know

What options are there?

This stunning faux banana tree measures approximately 240cm tall when fully arranged, including the pot.

Will you be able to tell it’s not real?

Our musa basjoo banana tree includes three highly authentic trunks which are dressed with a realistic wood coating, as well as large multi-tonal green banana leaves. The foliage includes splits and frays at the ends as a natural banana tree would, which only adds to its already incredibly realistic appearance.

Where should you use it?

We think this beauty belongs in a large open space where it can be appreciated by all. Put it in a larger pot and use it in your hallway, bathroom, living room or office space. Pair it with other tropical plants for a jungle theme.

When the musa basjoo banana tree arrives, this is what you need to do:

  1. Unpack
  2. Your tropical faux banana tree will arrive in a secure cardboard box. When it arrives, please remove it and recycle the packaging where possible, once you are happy with your order.

  3. Assemble and arrange
  4. This tree does require some self assembly due to its large size. As you can see in the animation above, you’ll simply need to push the top foliage into the hole in the tallest trunk. If you need any help, please contact our team.

Once you’ve done this, you’ll need to arrange its foliage. When your exotic artificial tree arrives, you may notice that the foliage looks a little bunched together. This is completely normal and it only takes a few minutes to correct. Simply bend out the fronts and run your hands over each leaf to straighten out any creases. Any creases that remain should drop out over the next few days.

For more information, watch our video guide here.

  5. Re-pot
  6. The faux musa basjoo banana tree will arrive in a small black starter pot. We strongly recommend that you put this into a larger planter to give the tree more stability and style. To do this, simply put your artificial banana tree and its starter pot into your new planter, fill in the gaps with soil, sand or stones and top with decorative stones to finish off the look.

For further help, watch our video guide.

What about ongoing maintenance?

As it’s faux, there’s no need to water, prune or re-pot your artificial tree. Instead, simply wipe down the leaves with a damp cloth from time to time to remove any dirt or debris.

Did you know?

Banana trees only flower and bear fruit once in their lives.
