Reviews & Questions

Here's Everything You Need To Know

What options are there?

The artificial boxwood balls come in a pack of two and are available in three sizes to suit your space – 22cm, 28cm and 38cm in diameter. Each ball arrives complete and comes attached to a galvanised steel hanging chain so they’re ready to hang on your wall bracket straight out of the box. The foliage is UV protected so can be used outdoors.

Will you be able to tell they’re not real?

These stylish topiary balls feature two tone foliage to mimic new grow for the most realistic look. The foliage replicates natural boxwood foliage which is the most traditional type used for creating pristine topiary shapes.

Where should you put them?

Most of our customers hang their boxwood balls either side of their front door for an attractive entrance to their home. You can also use them in pots for a simply beautiful display. You can even use them inside your home on shelves as a contemporary feature.

When the boxwood balls arrive, this is what you need to do:

  1. Unpack
  2. Your boxwood balls will arrive securely packed into a strong cardboard box. When they arrive, open the box, remove your topiary balls and recycle the packaging.

If your boxwood balls appear damaged, please let us know as soon as possible.

  3. Hang or Plant
  4. Once you’ve unpacked your boxwood balls, hang them up in your garden for an everlasting splash of greenery. Alternatively, you can pot them up into an attractive planter or use several in a trough for a stylish feature. To do this, we recommend inserting either a garden cane or something similar like a tent peg into the mesh (like a lollipop) and then pushing it into your potting medium.

What about ongoing maintenance?

When it comes to artificial topiary, not only will you have beautiful long lasting greenery in your garden, but you’ll also never have to worry about keeping it in shape or alive! Artificial boxwood is a quick and easy solution for those of us who do not have time to maintain a natural topiary shape. Although boxwood is slow growing, once left untrimmed the shape that has been created is quickly lost. No maintenance is required with our artificial boxwood balls, leaving time for more important things.

Did you know?

Boxwood has been cultivated for ornamental purposes since 4,000 B.C by the ancient Egyptians. Today, it remains a popular shrub in some of the world’s most famous landmarks including the White House, Mount Vernon and Versailles.
