Artificial Tradescantia Hanging Bush

What options are there?

The tradescantia hanging bush is available with either variegated or purple tinted foliage. It comes on a small 10cm long spike which can be easily planted into its own pot or a larger arrangement. Each bush measures approximately 40cm at the widest point and 77cm from the top of the spike to the bottom of the foliage.

Will you be able to tell it’s not real?

This contemporary hanging bush features eye-catching stripy leaves with wiry stems that would naturally be able to store a decent amount of water to keep itself alive. The leaves start off larger towards the top of the plant and trail off into smaller more delicate leaves as it reaches its end. The foliage is manufactured using premium quality silk to allow for vivid colours and accurate detail.

Where should I put it?

The tradescantia bush is designed for indoor use only. It would look excellent cascading out of a pot on a shelf or mantelpiece or trailing out of a hanging planter. Alternatively use it as extra colour and texture in your larger floral arrangements.

When the tradescantia hanging bush arrives, this is what you need to do:

1. Unpack
Your artificial hanging bush will arrive in a strong cardboard box to keep it safe during transit. When it arrives, remove it from its packaging and recycle where possible.

If by any chance your tradescantia arrives damaged, please let us know as soon as possible.


2. Plant
The tradescantia hanging bush comes on a small plastic spike, making it quick and simple to plant. All you need to do is push the spike into your potting medium and you’re all done!

What about ongoing maintenance?

Unlike the natural tradescantia plant, our artificial version doesn’t need sunlight, regular watering or fertilizer. The only thing you may need to do is dust the leaves to remove any build-up of dirt or debris.
