Here's Everything You Need To Know

What options are there?

This stunning indoor houseplant comes in a decorative cement planter measuring xxcm tall by xxcm wide. The overall plant measures 15cm tall and xxcm wide.

Will you be able to tell it’s not real?

This quirky succulent is well recognised for its pea-like foliage which sprawls over the edges of its container to create a beautiful trailing feature. Our artificial senecio in cement perfectly replicates this with the foliage varying in length and tone for the most natural look. It’s manufactured using top quality materials giving it a super realistic finish.

Where should you put it?

As with all trailing artificial plants our senecio in cement would suit a shelf where it can cascade down or a table top for some extra colour. You may even like to use it in a hanging planter to give your space height and interest. It would most suit a light and airy interior where it would naturally thrive, however you can use your faux wherever you like without any worry.

This artificial plant is designed for indoor use only. We do not recommend keeping it outside as it may damage the plant.

When the artificial senecio in cement arrives, this is what you need to do:

  1. Unpack
  2. When you receive your order, unbox your artificial senecio and remove any additional packaging.

In the unlikely case that your order is damaged, please contact us as soon as possible.

  3. Re-pot
  4. This artificial senecio plant is ready to go into your space straight out of the box. If however you would like to put it in a different planter you can easily re-pot it. All you need to do is sit the existing cement pot in your new planter, fill in any gaps with sand or soil and top with decorative stones.

For more information, read our potting guide.

What about on-going maintenance?

The natural senecio plant needs well drained soil, a temperature no less than 22°C and careful watering as too much will cause root rot. Rather than worrying about that hassle, you’ll only need to give your faux senecio in cement a quick dust every now and then to keep it looking its best.

For more help, read our guide to cleaning artificial plants.

Did you know

The senecio’s unique foliage is an adaptation to living in Southwest Africa, where the plant originates. The bead-like foliage allows the senecio to store water and its shape greatly reduces evaporation, allowing it to survive in the driest conditions.
