What options are there?

The schefflera living wall mat measures 50cm wide by 50cm tall and comes on a strong plastic grid which can be easily attached to your surface using staples or cable ties.

Will you be able to tell it’s not real?

The schefflera living wall mat features dense schefflera foliage with an additional grass plant for extra texture. The foliage is made using strong plastic which allows for top quality detail while providing the strength needed to stand up to the suns harsh UV rays. The foliage comes in several shades of lighter and darker green to mimic the appearance of new growth which gives the mat an incredibly natural look when mounted to your wall or fence.

Where should you use it?

The schefflera mat is UV and weather protected. This means it can be used outside without the risk of fading. Use it to hide an unsightly fence, wall or trellis or add privacy to your garden. Alternatively, create your own contemporary indoor living wall.

When the schefflera living wall arrives, this is what you need to do:

1. Unpack
When your schefflera living wall mat arrives, remove it from the box and recycle any packaging where possible.

If your order arrives damaged in any way, please let us know as soon as possible.


2. Trim & clip together
Each mat can be cut down to size to fit your space, this can be done using scissors. Once the mats are at your desired sizes, use the a/b connectors on each mat to clip them together.


3. Attach to your surface
Once you’ve clipped your mats together they’re ready to be mounted onto your surface. To do this we recommend using cable ties, a staple gun or screws.

What about ongoing maintenance?

By using artificial living wall mats, you won’t encounter diseases such as blight or similar plant issues. You’ll get the same privacy benefits without the need to regularly cut your hedge back and as all of our mats are UV resistant and weather proof, you won’t need to worry about the colour fading.

When using indoors, you may need to give the foliage a quick dust every now and then but aside from this, there’s no maintenance necessary.

Did you know?

The schefflera plant is more commonly known as the dwarf umbrella tree. Its natural version contains calcium oxalate crystals that are poisonous to animals and can be fatal. Therefore if you own any furry friends or small children, we wouldn’t recommend owning one!
