Reviews & Questions

Here's Everything You Need To Know

What options are there?

The rhipsalis hanging bush measures approximately 96cm tall and 25-30cm wide. It comes on a handy plastic hoop measuring 5cm long.

Will you be able to tell it’s not real?

The rhipsalis hanging bush features long green tendrils perfect for trailing out of a pot down shelving or a window ledge. The foliage sprouts from a realistic branch, as rhipsalis would grow from other plants and trees in the wild.

Where should you use it?

This faux hanging bush would look best potted in a decorative planter and trailed down shelving in your kitchen, bathroom or bedroom. For the most authentic look, use a clay planter as the natural rhipsalis would thrive in one. Its long foliage also makes it an excellent hanging plant so a macramé style planter is also a great choice.

Alternatively you can add it to other arrangements for extra texture and style. The plastic spike makes this bush easy to plant wherever you wish.

When the rhipsalis hanging bush arrives, this is what you need to do:

  1. Unpack
  2. The rhipsalis will arrive in strong sturdy packaging to ensure it’s delivered to you safely. When it arrives at your door, open the box and recycle the packaging where possible.

If you find that your order is damaged please contact us. as soon as possible.

  3. Arrange
  4. Once you have removed the packaging, the foliage may need to be gently separated using your hands to help it look its best. Once you’re happy with its appearance you’re ready to plant.

  5. Plant
  6. The handy plastic hoop makes this part as simple as can be. Simply push the hoop into soil, sand or oasis foam and you’re done!

For more information on potting artificial plants, read our guide here.

What about on-going maintenance?

The natural rhipsalis requires a semi humid atmosphere, bright yet indirect light and careful watering which sounds like a lot of hassle to us! The artificial rhipsalis on the other hand, only needs dusting occasionally to keep it looking its best.

For more information read our guide to cleaning artificial plants.

Did you know?

During the summer the natural rhipsalis, or rhipsalis baccifera, sends out small cream flowers which turn to white berries in the winter, giving it the nickname mistletoe cactus.
