Here's Everything You Need To Know

What options are there?

The cedar mat is available in two variations, the side mat and the top mat. These are slightly different in the way that the foliage ‘grows’. The side mat offers angled upward ‘growth’ to mimic the sides of a natural conifer hedge, whereas the top mat has the foliage pointing vertically to look like the top of a hedge.

Each mat clips together using a/b connectors. Please note that these cannot be mixed and matched with the rest of our range.

Will you be able to tell it’s not real?

Each mat includes dense UV stable two-tone foliage which gives it a highly authentic look almost identical to the real thing. Whether you’re creating your own artificial hedging, living wall or simply want to spruce up a blank space, we’re sure the cedar mat will impress both you and your visitors.

Where should you use it?

The cedar mat is UV protected and designed for outdoor use. It can withstand direct sun, rain, snow and wind. For more information on UV protection, check out our guide here.

Attach your mats to an unsightly wall or fence in your garden, or a blank interior wall in need of some extra love for an instant transformation.

When the cedar mat arrives, this is what you need to do:

  1. Unpack
    2. When your order arrives, simply unbox your mats and recycle the packaging where possible. In the unlikely case that your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible.

  2. Trim & clip together
    3. On the back of each mat is a plastic grid. Should you need to, you can cut this to trim your mat to size using scissors.

    All of our mats include a/b connectors so you can clip them together and create a wall of long lasting greenery.

  3. Attach to your surface
    4. Once trimmed and connected, you can mount your mat to your surface using either a staple gun, nails or cable ties. If you need further help with this, please feel free to get in touch.

    What about on-going maintenance?

    When using the mats outside there’s no maintenance needed to keep your living wall looking lush. When indoors, we simply recommend dusting from time to time to keep the foliage clean.
